The problem of the study showed that there is a sum of syntheses for the elements of production. The company is however required to look for the maximum benefit of available resources and then the wanted economic efficiency. This study supposed that the company may have not achieved the economic efficiency. It is showed that the productivity function has capable of the best value on the basis the labor "wages" and “capital”, value and technical progress that was almost the best indication conformed with economic logic, it is also showed that the company passes through stages of increase of returns. This affirmed that the company did not achieve the economic efficiency at most efficiency. .

A Comparison between Least Squares and Adjusted Ridge Regression Methods with Application
dr. Safaa Saffawi, Talal Al-Hasso (Author)
June 2011 ,Pages 46-57

Abstract: Abstract In this paper, the problem of combating multicollinearity between predictor variables in multiple linear regression model has been studied. This treatment has been done by using the adjusted ridge regression which is suggested by Swindle (1976). This method depends on adding a vector of prior information about the vector of regression parameters  to the estimator proposed by (Hoerl & Kennard, 1970). We selected the vector of prior information to represent the average of Ordinary Least Squares estimator for  . The optimal value for ridge parameter that makes the mean square error of the adjusted estimator minimum has been selected. A comparison between the ordinary least squares and the adjusted estimators has been done. A Monte Carlo simulation is made for 15 predictor variables by choosing different sample sizes simple correlation coefficients,  and and we concluded that the adjusted estimators is better than the ordinary least squares estimators . .

As well as the research modeled the variables of governance which related to companies performance, ownership structure, returns, rewards of management board and the ability of companies announcement. In addition to the adoption of CAPM model to measure systematic risk which affect the companies. The retrospective modeled between earnings management, governance and risk were modeled. The research covered the period between (2002-2004) and reached to construct a model of measuring the exchange relation between earnings management, governance and risk, and invite the Arab countries and their companies to follow suit the countries which established the governance rules, to declare play and maneuver cases. .

The Granger Causality Relation between Foreign Capital and Domestic Investment for the Sample of the Asian Countries 1970-2007
Marwan Thanoon (Author)
June 2011 ,Pages 80-94

Abstract: Abstract The degree of integration in the global financial markets has increased dramatically in recent years. Net capital flows to developing economics have reached the highest level since the 1980s debt crisis. The composition of international Capital flows to developing economics has also become more adverse in the last decade or so. There has been a shift from long-term loans mainly belong to governments, to short-term loans belong to private sector, and from bank to non-bank sources such as direct investment flows and portfolio investments. This main objective of this research is provides quantitative assessments of the effect of various types of the foreign capital flows on the Investment rate of a sample of Asian countries for the period (1970-2007). The empirical analysis was based on Structural Vector Auto Regression (SVAR) and Granger Causality test, and we found; first, the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) has enhancing and increasing the domestic investment. Second, the domestic savings contribute positively to growth. Third, the short-term capital inflows (Hot Money) are more volatile and have adverse effect on the economic growth. The volatile of its rate had contributed strongly in created the crisis in Asian financial markets.

June 2011 ,Pages 115-129

Abstract: Abstract The problem of the current research based on the negative effect of inflation uncertainty on almost the decisions of consumers and investors. Okum & Friedman referred that there is a sort of inconsiderable statistical relationship whatsoever between inflation and inflation uncertainty, the orientation of this effect may draw upon the time under test. The effect however differs in short term than the long one. The research aims at studying the relationship between the inflation and inflation uncertainty. The effect of monetary policy on them has been taken via debating the monthly temporal series of the metrical no. to the consumers in Turkey from 1980-2009. This has been regarded in terms of depending the Box – Jenkes for identifying the model through series of tests of GARCH model of regenerating the inflation uncertainty and also chosen through Granger casualty. The study concluded that there is an significant casual relationship between with two orientations; the inflation uncertainty and inflation. The effect of inflation uncertainty may be decreased in long term and this consequently agrees with the most of theoretical treaties viewed in literature. .

Evaluate the Role of Non-Financial Quality Measures from the Theory of Constraint Perspective: A Case Study in the Factory of Ready Made Wears in Mosul
Muthana Al-Zaidy (Author)
June 2011 ,Pages 130-152

Abstract: Abstract This research attempts to explore the role of non-financial quality measures from the theory of constraint perspective through studying the effect of quality problems on balancing status between production flow and the demand on restricted recourses. The research supposed that quality problem represents one of the determinants of production flow continued through the production system, so the use of non-financial quality measures can determine the bottle link caused by quality problems and evaluate its effects on the efficiency of using restricted resources. To reach its objectives, the research uses the descriptive approach in declaring the theoretical bases to this research and using the analytical approach to show the application side of this research by a case study in the factory of ready - made wears in Mosul. The basic conclusion of the research is that products quality and utilization of restricted resources represent a function to calculate performance evaluation measures for operation process. The research recommended that adaptation of the research outcome measures that built on the integration relationship between quality measures and theory of constraints measures in evaluating the performance of production lines in the factory.
