Abstract
The research seeks to describe the impact of government spending on some variables, sustainable development, which express the content of economic and social development and environmental during the period (1995_2009), and the purpose of briefing the content of the research has been addressing some of the theoretical concepts of government spending and sustainable development and the effects of government spending on the variables of sustainable development the practical part has been the adoption of the model of simple linear regression analysis to portray the impact of explanatory variable between government spending and some of the variables adopted for sustainable development (economic, social, environmental). That have been expressed in some of the indicators was reached several conclusions that were based on fact and applied the most important reasons for the failure of government spending in the face of challenges and achieve its goals of development. In light of this has been a number of recommendations that do government spending towards the achievement of its objectives of development. .
