One of the most important indicators which the researcher used is Lorenz curve, genetic coefficient , coefficient of variation and the economic welfare index . Among the most significant results that the researcher concluded, is the existence of a considerable variation in the income distribution in the interest of the upper classes through the aforementioned factors. It shows that %60 of the population of Dohuk are receiving %38 of the total income .Finally the study suggested several recommendations , among the most important of which are the need for the government intervention to redistribute the income in favor of the lower classes through appropriate fiscal policies and creating other sources of income .
